Questions

Cooking on Jirani.

Are cooks checked on Jirani?

Cooking is one of the skills Jirani verifies: a cook can send proof of training or past work, and listings show when Jirani has checked it.

Who buys the ingredients?

Agree on it in the chat before the day. Many clients buy the food themselves; some cooks shop for you and include it in their price.

How does paying work?

You pay with M-Pesa or your Jirani balance when you book. Jirani holds the money in escrow and pays the provider only when you approve the work. The 5% service fee is shown at checkout.

What if I am not happy with the work?

Don't approve it. Report a problem on the order and the payment stays frozen while Jirani looks at what happened and decides whether to pay the provider or refund you.
