Questions
Laundry on Jirani.
How is laundry priced on Jirani?
Most people charge per load or per visit, and some per item for ironing. Each listing shows its price before you book, and you can post a request with your own budget.
Can someone pick up and drop off my laundry?
Yes, many providers offer pick-up and delivery. Say so when you book or post your request, and agree on the details in the in-app chat.
How does paying work?
You pay with M-Pesa or your Jirani balance when you book. Jirani holds the money in escrow and pays the provider only when you approve the work. The 5% service fee is shown at checkout.
What if I am not happy with the work?
Don't approve it. Report a problem on the order and the payment stays frozen while Jirani looks at what happened and decides whether to pay the provider or refund you.
